Our Mission: To provide solutions in Montgomery County to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring. Our Vision: To end homelessness in Montgomery County by building a community where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.  MCCH’s mission and vision are aligned with the population goals in the Home, Together federal strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness, as well as the Montgomery County ICH Strategic Plan to End Homelessness. In partnership with Montgomery County and other local providers, MCCH has met the first two population goals to end veteran homelessness in 2016 and chronic homelessness in 2019. We continue our partnership with Montgomery County in pursuit of the remaining population-focused goals:
      • End homelessness among families with children by the end of 2020
      • End homelessness among youth (ages 16-24) by the end of 2021
      • End homelessness among seniors by the end of 2022
      • End homelessness among everyone in Montgomery County by the end of 2023
