Montgomery County Public Schools allow us to provide Student Service Learning (SSL) hours to students who are part of meal donations to MCCH’s men’s emergency shelter. To receive service credit, please note the following instructions:

4 hours | Prepare and deliver 40 meals |
5 hours | Prepare and deliver 60 meals |
6 hours | Prepare and deliver 80 meals |
7 hours | Prepare and deliver 100 meals |
8 hours | Prepare and deliver 120 meals |
9 hours | Prepare and deliver 140 meals |
10 hours | Prepare and deliver 160 meals |
11 hours | Prepare and deliver 180 meals |
12 hours | Prepare and deliver 200 meals |
2 hours | Additional hours available for serving the prepared meal |
- Meals must be scheduled in advance and adhere to all guidelines outlined.
- If you are preparing a meal as part of a group, you must divide the number of meals by the number of people in your group to determine how many hours each person will be awarded. For example, if 3 people make 60 meals, each person will receive credit for making 20 meals.
- Following your meal delivery/service project, please send the appropriate form for completion to meals@mcch.net.
