Jennifer Schiller brings 15 plus years of experience working within social services. She has served as the Director for the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter in Fairfax, VA where she oversaw daily operations of the family emergency shelter as well as rapid re-housing and community case management services. Jennifer has also worked as a Program Manager with The Ethiopian Community Development Council in Arlington, Virginia and as both a Director of Refugee Resettlement and a Program Coordinator for Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area. Most recently, she served as the Senior Program Officer with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants where she oversaw the refugee resettlement placement plan for over 7,000 refugees, monitored budgets and implemented and evaluated protocols and activities with 31 affiliate offices across the United States. Jennifer holds her MA in Cultural Anthropology from George Washington University with a focus on development and displacement studies. Since 2012, Jennifer has, and continues, to serve as the Chief Programs Officer for the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless.
