Marcus Brown, Program Director, Partnership for Permanent Housing and Vulnerability Initiative Program

Marcus Brown has worked extensively across domains in the human services arena which includes the empowerment of homeless single adults and families in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia.  Marcus successfully negotiated, developed and secured employment opportunities for the most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness as a Team Leader in the employment division of a homeless services provider prior to joining MCCH. In addition, Marcus worked at a Core Service Agency as a Case Manager and as a Program Manager for an Intermediate Care Facility and Medicaid Waiver residential community established to meet the needs of individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities.  Marcus holds his BS in Family Studies from the University of Maryland College Park.
